Warner Bros. revealed the first images and logo for Godzilla vs. Kong at CCXP Worlds this Saturday. The film, directed by Blair Witch and You’re Next director Adam Wingard, is the next chapter in the Monsterverse from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Entertainment.
The footage, which can be seen in the tweet below, gives fans their first look at the return of the massive kaiju featured in 2019’s Godzilla vs. Kong of the Monsters and the giant ape from Kong: Skull Island from 2017.
Godzilla vs. Kong is among the Warner Bros. films of 2021 opening the same day on HBO Max domestically and in theaters internationally.
The film stars Alexander Skarsgård, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Shun Oguri, Eiza González, Jessica Henwick, Julian Dennison, Kyle Chandler, and Demián Bichir.
